Christine DeMont
was born and raised in Europe. She received a B.A. from Oregon State University
and is fluent in German, French and Italian. Christine has extensive
International and Domestic Marketing experience. She began her business career
at Nordstrom, learning about the importance of customer service and how to teach
and instill customer service in employees. After
managing
at the flagship downtown San Francisco store Nordstrom, Christine moved from
retail to International Marketing at the E&J Gallo Winery. After opening up
several new markets, she directed the global marketing effort for the California
Almond industry.
Christine has integrated marketing plans domestically, internationally and
globally that include advertising, public relations, and promotional plans. She
has managed large and small advertising and public relations agencies from the
client side in the US as well as in International markets. She has managed
advertising agency relationships and has experience in consumer and business
marketing in the US, Germany, England, France, Japan, and China.
Christine's strength lies in her strategic marketing experience and global
perspective. She has introduced new brands and strengthened established ones by
focusing on consumer positioning and capitalizing on brand equity. Her focus on
marketing fundamentals and the consumer have influenced her to develop many
successful marketing campaigns across industries.
Christine spends her non-working time shuttling children between soccer games,
riding horses, cooking and running.
