Crop Protection Issues and the California Almond Industry

Our goal: Proactively seeking solutions to environmental challenges

Producing almonds requires that growers control weeds, insects and diseases in order to economically and efficiently produce a safe, abundant and affordable supply. Herbicides, insecticides and fungicides are regulated by the federal and state government. The Almond Board of California provides regulatory agencies with scientific research and background material on these products.
